The Story That Started It All
I never really thought about what I did as coaching or about doing it as a business. That idea only came to me a few years ago, but the fact is I have been helping people change their lives since 2004.
In 2004 I was busy in my church, unemployed and chronically ill. Then, a week before Christmas at the young age of 30 I heard the words no one ever wants to hear: “You have cancer.”
The Fight of My Life
What followed was too heavy and too lengthy to describe here, but after [barely] surviving 6 months of aggressive chemo and 20 days of radiation, I knew that life needed to be very different going forward.
A Step Back
Just prior to being diagnosed I had a life altering conversation with someone. I believe that one conversation spared me from a worse fate. In retrospect, it was my first experience with a coach. even though he didn’t call himself that. Still, that one conversation changed the course of my life and I’m forever grateful it did!
I’m grateful for the heroic people that helped save my life and to God who brought them in when I most needed them.
Are you ready to make a change? Has change been forced upon you in some way? Do you find yourself at a crossroads?
Would you like to learn how you can train your brain to serve you, rather than sabotage you with negative thoughts or internal dialogue? If you are ready to have that conversation, book a call with me.
